The register’s purpose of use
The register is used to maintain the contact details of the participants in the nomination and voting process and their contact persons. The register is used to provide information about the competition, the selection of candidates and the results of the voting. The contact details will only be used to communicate about the competition and its winners for the duration of the competition.
Storage period of personal data
The storage of personal data in the register and the use of the data by the controller is based on the consent of the data subject. The register records the name, organisation, e-mail address, reasons for the selection, the name and telephone number of the person who nominated the candidate. To vote in a competition, a participant must indicate his/her name, e-mail address and his/her voting choice. Participants may be asked to provide additional information for the purposes of organising the competition.
Regular data sources
The information is entered in the register by the person taking part in the competition via a form to be filled in by the participant.
Regular data disclosure
Personal data may be disclosed to the organisers of the competition for the purposes of running the competition and providing information.
Data transfer outside the EU or EEA
No data will be transferred outside the EU/EEA.
Register protection
Data is collected and stored using Webropol. Access to the data is limited to designated users and with technical support. The service provider is responsible for the up-to-date security of the website. Users have their own usernames and passwords. The data will be stored until the end of the competition.
Right of access
In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, individuals have the right to check what data relating to them are stored in the personal data file. The request for inspection must be sent in writing and signed to the Data Protection Officer or can be made in person at the above address.
